Kids in Distress:

I don’t know if friends have had a chance to view recently but the quilts for Kids in Distress are numbering at 44! Wow! And I’m sure as soon as Dianne returns home she will have more. To those who do not know about the project, please visit: http://www.sadiasews.com/kids.html My eternal thanks and love to friends who have contributed.

Ebay Wikepedia:

An interesting link was sent me some while back. Ebay has a What I Know Is (Wiki) board which is designed to help others in learning about facts on just about anything under the sun. Anyone can start a topic but the topic must be factual and not supposition and or biased. An article about Machine Embroidery-Self Help and do’s and don’t's was posted. The article, although a good idea is based on bias opinion. However, it has attracted the attention of many and has been altered to reflect facts and not just opinions of one or a few. It should provide friends with interesting reading about the topic and can be found  here:  http://www.ebaywiki.com/Articles/1000000000000818   Please do note that at the top right is the history of the topic and its various forms as presented by others. Although I do not believe in altering someone’s works but rather adding to it by addendums, the article allows for others to edit and alter (such is the nature of the Wiki set-up). I caution others in reading the article to be factual. It is nothing more than a cry for attention and notoriety by a certain group.

Return of the “Mere”

Yup, she is back again after several years of  watching from behind the scenes. One of the most infamous sharers and promoter of “its mine and I’ll do what I want with it” attitude. And where else should the “Mere” (as known on the rebel newsgroups) should choose to appear….why no other place than a rebel Yahoo group whose purpose is yet to be determined…except for the one goal and that to libel and slander the ESPC and anyone affiliated with it. Years ago “Mere” made an out of court deal with a major embroidery company to stay out of the embroidery world. Her internet affiliations with another mover and shaker in the “sharing embroidery designs” world (across the oceans) resulted in a bitter end and with her only ally against her, she had finally taken a back seat. It came as no surprise to find her in the membership of the rebel group, and not just under one name but a few that she hides behind. “Birds of a Feather Flock together”….LOL.
