The journey continues, Grace II, Sentimental Laces

In my previous blog post, I had mentioned the debut of an Heirloomg2a group where friends can compete to create Heirlooms for tomorrow. A dear friend had written me asking about the meaning of heirlooms. I had to sit and wonder a bit. What exactly are heirlooms and what do we mean when we say the word. In my belief, heirlooms are anything that can be considered a keepsake. Grace collections are to me true heirlooms as they will carry on something from our past for our future generations to cherish and pass on.

Last year when Carolyn and I released the Grace I collection g2bof “Bonnets and Booties”, we were overwhelmed with the response from our friends around the world. The collection had so many possibilities beyond just the creation of the bonnets and booties that we really did not know if we would ever top it with the second collection. However, with both our talents combined together, I have to admit that we are both bowled over in creating the Grace II, Sentimental Laces.

Grace II, Sentimental Laces is a collection of insertion hearts and corresponding freestanding laces. The laces are the g2cmost softest and light weight that can be found.

Both Carolyn and I are extremely proud of our creations.  We had hoped to release the collection by Valentine’s day as the designs do represent the holiday perfectly. But, all good things have to take their time and we should release the collection shortly.

The laces are so versatile that any age group can use them on wearable items as well as home decor. The collection designs have the look and feel of the Victorian era yet are sturdy for years to come.
