Heirloom designs have always interested me and I have always wanted to create the similar look but to create it in such a  manner that the same designs could be appreciated by all age groups. I wanted to give that heirloom look yet also give it a modern twist so the designs could also be used on not just heirloom items but everyday items as well. I created this collection with the idea of creating a wedding ensemble in mind but as the collection grew, I found that the designs could be incorporated into modern day wearables also. I have shown below some of the projects that were created using these designs. These designs are not stitch intensive and utilise almost one or two colors hence no jumps. I have shown the software generated pictures as well as actual stitchouts to show the designs. Many of the designs can be used to weave ribbons through the cutwork like bars.

  Baby's christening dress made of organza, using Heirloom design on the hem and the bodice of the dress giving it an antique look. The dress has a large heart in the center which is woven through the bars using fine gold edged ribbon. The dress is further enhanced with seed pearls and bugle beads.
