Kanta Border VI
Kanta Border Lace VI collection is a versatile freestanding lace border collection. There are eight designs in this collection. Each design can be used in many ways besides being used as a border. These designs however, do not have to be used as a border. They can also be used as laces to cover fabrics, add interest to wearables, home decor, linen etc. These motifs can be stitched on water soluble stabilizer and tacked on just about any surface for embroidered embellished look. They can be joined together to create large lace fabric if so desired. The designs vary from 4x4 hoop to the corner designs being for the 5x7 hoop. The designs come in color and in monocolor. You can purchase the designs individually or collectively as a collection.

Round Doily created Kanta Border Lace 6c design stitched four times. The designs were joined using monofilament thread with the top tension lowered to avoid bobbin thread from showing on top. The center is linen fabric. A thin zigzag stitch was used to join the laces to the linen fabric. The linen was later trimmed away allowing the laces to be the edging. |

Kanta Border Lace 6a design stitched eight times and joined using monofilament thread to silk to create a large centerpiece for the buffet. |

Kanta Border Lace 6b (corner design) was stitched and attached to this dinner napkin using monofilament thread on the top. The excess fabric from below was cut away to allow the lace to be the corner edge of the napkin. |
