Southern Beauty Is there any flower that is as magnificent as the Magnolia? When I was asked to attend the American Embroidery Conference in Atlanta, I immediately started to work on the Magnolia collection. I had never seen a Magnolia or knew exactly what this flower smelled like or felt like. A dear friend in Atlanta, Georgia went through a lot of trouble to explain this flower, its scent, its texture via emails. Not only was she able to convey the true beauty of this flower but also took time to take her threads to match the exact colors with the magnolias growing on her magnolia tree. For this I am truly grateful. Thank you Donna Hoffman, for all your support and in making this collection possible. I hope you enjoy these Southern Beauties as much as I did when creating them.
