Renaissance Splendor The Renaissance era had a splendor of arts and architecture with floral vines and bright colors. Here is a collection of freestanding lace reminiscent of the time. The texture and feel of this lace is equivalent to brocaded fabric yet it is produced within a short time span on your embroidery machine. The collection has three designs all for the 4x4 hoop. You can mix and match to create your own one of a kind creations.
Wineglass coaster/doily created from four corner designs A dear friend, Carol Price, brought me this wonderful piece of Irish linen from her trip to the U.K. I decided to create a complete table setting using the linen. Thank you Carol. Runner made with corner and rose border designs Table setting created with Renaissance lace collection Another color scheme The above shown projects were created using "Vilene" as the wash away stabilizer. Vilene is a very strong wash away stabilizer available only from Australia. I get mine from Rachel Stirling at Stirling embroidery. I used only one layer of vilene to stitch all these designs.
