Hands-On: Heirloom cutwork doily:

A 14" cutwork edge doily on linen using one color thread to give a vintage look. The class time will be 2.5 hours. The students will not only learn to do cutwork but also multi-hooping. The doily is created using 4 5x7 hoops.

Hands On: Vintage Handkerchief:

A 14" voile handkerchief which looks and feels from the Victorian days complete with the finest needle lace created directly on your home embroidery machine. The class time will be 2.5 hours. The students will learn to joing freestanding lace designs and attach to fabric in the hoop as well as multi-hooping.

Hands On: Applique/cutwork Towel:

The most easiest way to embellish plush towels is to stitch out the applique/cutwork designs from Sadia's Jacobean Symphony as a patch and attach the patch to the towel in the hoop. This 1.5 hour class will teach the concept of cutwork and applying patches in the hoop.

Note: The lace trim shown on the towel above is not part of the class.
