Vintage Lace I is the begining of Schiffli type laces which were amongst the very first types of machine embroidered laces created. The designs are reminiscent of the vintage laces and have a multitude of uses from decorating apparel to home decor. These laces stitch out fast yet are very dainty yet sturdy. Each of the Vintage Lace series will have only one design in the collection. These designs are very different in style and stitch than my previous freestanding laces. All that is required is water soluble stabilizer and thread. Different types of threads will yeild different weights of laces. Vintage Lace I has one design which is ideal as an edge design to be used on home decor items or on garments. I hope you will enjoy using this design as much as I enjoyed creating it.
