I can still remember the crisp starched linens in my Mother’s home with delicate embroideries which were hand embroidered by a dear departed loved one. I would ooh and aah over the various color schemes and the intricate details of the embroideries. Vintage Linens I is a collection of designs suitable for the 4x4 machine embroidery hoops created to recall the era gone by. Small embroideries which with a bit of imagination can be turned into large borders, quilt blocks, edgings for linens and wearables etc. All the designs can be used for multi-purposes, as a single motif by themselves or merged together with others or duplicated to create large designs. Jump stitches have been kept to a minimum with the designs with emphasis on variety of stitches. The designs can be used for any occasion, holiday simply by changing the colors. All the designs in Vintage Linens I collection are for the 4x4 hoop. I hope you enjoy these designs as much as I enjoyed creating them.
